Waves is a modern, layered WAP/WML browser stack built against the original standards. Historical compatibility defines the core; better behavior ships as an explicit extension.
State of the project
Planning is mapped. Implementation is the long pole.
Source coverage, class-profile selection, SCR ledgers, and clause extraction now form the control plane. The program is 23% complete by work-item status; that is planning progress, not a conformance claim.
